In Berlin, many changes are currently happening to solidify the reality that the wall has fallen. Although the physical divider has collapsed the social walls still exist in the city. The goal of this social awareness campaign was to promote the idea of walls in a different way. With the intention to change the perception of social differences within the city because it inhibits the culture to move forward.

MANIFESTO

We build walls to keep people of difference out. We are afraid that people of difference will take something from us. They will cause us harm. But they too share the same fear. We all need to eat, to sleep, to be accepted. We’re humans that way. By building a wall we are only isolating ourselves from us. We are letting fear stand in the way of sharing ideas, experiences, differences that fused together make us stronger. So look at what’s on the other side. Listen to what’s on the other side. Realize we’re all on the same side. Tear down the walls of isolation. Rebuild a better world.

This is where the end starts.
